No shading. A top-four band appears only after matches give it meaning. Order here is editorial, not rank.

What each column means

The table ranks teams by points first. Net run rate only matters when teams finish level on points. Until the first match, every row is zero and the order is editorial, not a ranking.

  • Pos. Position in the table, decided by points and then net run rate once matches are played.
  • Team. The franchise. Each team name in the table links to its team page.
  • M. Matches played.
  • W. Matches won.
  • L. Matches lost.
  • NR. Matches with no result.
  • Pts. Total points. The 2026 points tariff is still to be confirmed.
  • NRR. Net run rate, the tie-breaker when teams finish level on points.

How qualification works

Five teams play each other twice in the league stage, eight matches a side and twenty league matches in total. The top four move into the playoffs and the fifth goes home. The season is advertised at 24 matches, and the exact knockout pairings are still to be confirmed. The format and rules page carries the full qualification picture, and the schedule page carries the season dates as they are confirmed.

Net run rate explained

Net run rate is a team's scoring rate minus its conceding rate across the tournament, measured in runs per over. Take a simple illustration, not a real match: a side that scores 160 runs in 20 overs scores at 8.00 runs per over, and a side that concedes 140 runs in 20 overs concedes at 7.00. The difference, +1.00, is the idea behind the number. Real tables compute it across every match, and an innings in which a side is bowled out counts as the full quota of overs. A positive net run rate means a team scores faster than its opponents; a negative one means the opposite.

How this table updates

The standings will appear here after the first match on 27 December 2026, and the table will be updated after each match once the season begins. Until then, every row stays at zero. For the match itself, see the live scores page, and for the season shape, see the teams page.
